Trail Running Sussex - The friendly running group that organises Trail Races and Guided Trail Running Weekend Breaks.
UltraStu Blog - The informative blog of Trail Running Sussex's Stuart Mills, titled "UltraStu - Millsy's Memories and Mutterings about Trail Running".
South Downs Way - The 100 mile trail, which runs from Eastbourne to Winchester.
National Trails - The official website for all of the National Trails throughout the UK.
UltraMarathonRunning.com - One of the most comprehensive calendars of Ultra Trail races on the web.
RunUltra.co.uk - Another comprehensive calendar of Ultra Trail races on the web. A more fancy looking website, usually with excellent photos illustrating the race routes.
RunRepeat.com - A useful site where runners can read reviews of running shoes.
Runfurther.com - A series of twelve great races, where you earn points which contribute towards the UK Ultra Running Championship.
Lakeland 100 - The Premier Ultra Trail Race within the UK. Stuart Mills has raced this great race three times, and will be racing the shorter accompanying Lakeland 50 race next July.
CenturionRunning.com - Organisers of some great Ultra Trail races in the South East of England, including the South Downs Way 100 miler and the South Downs Way 50 miler. The 100 mile event takes place in June. The 50 mile event takes place in April.
Endurancelife - Organisers of some great Trail Races, mainly in the South of England, or Wales.
South Downs Marathon - An excellent Trail Marathon, organised by Mike Gratton's 2:09 Events, which travels along the South Downs Way. It is such a great race that Stuart Mills has raced it, (and won it!) three times.
Montane - The leading brand of quality lightweight endurance mountain gear, ideal for trail running. Sponsors of the Montane Lakeland 100.
The Ultra Runner Store - An online store that stocks quality running clothing, packs, vests, head torches, race/training nutrition, and other accessories associated with trail running.
Sussex Tourist Board - A useful website with loads of tourist information.
VisitSussex.org - Another useful website with plenty of tourist information specific to Sussex.
South Downs National Park Authority - Lots of information regarding the newly established National Park.
The National Trust - An excellent charity that "Works to preserve and protect historic places and spaces - for ever, for everyone".
Ashdown Forest - An informative website describing loads about the Ashdown Forest, designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The routes of the Weald Challenge Trail Races, and the High Weald Challenge Trail Races pass through the Ashdown Forest.
Sussex Wildlife Trust - The largest conservation organisation dedicated to conserving the natural heritage of Sussex. The charity that is supported by Trail Running Sussex. A small portion of every race entry fee is donated by Trail Running Sussex to the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
